Another Comedy Blog (already)

Wow, what an afternoon we've had...

We went to the lunch time comedy show at the Historic Properties. There were only 4 acts on but a bunch of others showed up, so it was great for autographs and photo ops.

Here's what I have learned...

1. Jebb Fink is funnier every time we see him. He is really great to us and we feel so incredibly lucky to get a chance to get to know him. He did a joke about being in PEI, when we seem to remember him saying he'd never been there.... We think he threw it in just for us! lol

2. Mark Critch is a sweetheart! I was so surprised at how nice he was. He spend tons of time chatting with us, and just generally hanging out.

3. Joe Recca is really nice, too. He hung around with us chatting and really interacting with us.

4. Carrie Gaetz has family from Western PEI!

5. Casey Corbin lived in the same building my first apartment with my husband was in, in Ottawa!

6. Simon Rakoff sat with us at lunch. He was really sweet, too. Sweeter than I expected him to be. Huge fan of Spider Man, apparently.

7. We actually have comedic talent on the Island. Patrick Ledwell is from Charlottetown and was very funny.

8. Marc Sauvé, from Moncton is REALLY funny! We're only getting to see him once, but it was definitely enough to know that he is amazingly funny.

Today was a phenomenal day. Made a few business contacts, including people who may be able to assist in my plans to organize a comedy festival on Prince Edward Island.

The show we're seeing tonight will feature a lot of acts we haven't seen yet. And tomorrow night promises to be an amazing show, as well. Lots more comedy to see!!!!!
